AIG’s last-minute decision not to proceed with the appointment of former Lloyd’s of London chief executive John Neal was linked to an alleged inappropriate workplace conduct investigation, it has been reported, prompting a strong response from the head of the Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) in what she called a “renewed spirit of transparency”.
