Lockton mines Arch Re casualty talent for NA construction team

Independent insurance broker Lockton plucked casualty talent from Arch reinsurance to bolster its construction insurance advisory for North America from London. 

Oliver Ross will step in as SVP for construction at Lockton, where the real estate and construction business has grown to include more than 200 partners and associates across Europe.

Ross joins from Arch Re Europe where he served as underwriting director for facultative casualty. Ross had previously held casualty underwriting roles at General Re and Liberty Specialty Markets after beginning his insurance career as a US Casualty broker with Price Forbes.

Richard Owen, partner at Lockton Companies and head of real estate and construction, said: “Oliver is the ideal candidate to enhance our North American Construction Casualty business, and our clients will benefit from his extensive experience.
