Lockton raids Aon for four senior hires in Nordic push
Global re/insurance broker Lockton has expanded its capabilities in the Nordics with a raft of new hires from Aon Norway.
Lockton has hired Espen Rye Ellingsen, Espen Bjaarstad, Olav Botnen and Fredrik Mietle Holmstøen to join its people solutions team in Norway. They join from Aon Norway and take up their new roles with immediate effect.
Lockton said the four senior hires are part of its strategy to continue expanding its Nordic presence, and follow the appointment of Øyvind Larsen who recently joined Lockton to lead its people solutions business in Norway.
The executives have decades of experience in senior industry roles and track record of improving client outcomes through implementing a range of bespoke health and benefits and pension solutions, and providing financial safety advisory and capital management.
The company stated that it is dedicated to “attracting the strongest talent in the industry” as it continues to invest in the Nordics and expects to make further new hires this year.
