Lockton Re snags Lloyd’s, Aon talents to expand London cyber team

Reinsurance broker Lockton Re has strengthened its London cyber team with the addition of two senior experts with extensive experience from Lloyd’s of London, Aon, Marsh, and MS Amlin.

Jacqueline Yeo has joined Lockton Re as cyber analytics lead, and Annie Terry as a broker, dedicated to cyber risk. Both are to be based in the company’s London office.

Yeo has over 25 years’ experience in the London market; she has been an independent exposure management professional for over ten years, working with companies such as Lloyd’s of London, MS Amlin, Arch and RMS. She has undertaken cyber model validation and reviews. Yeo has an MSc in information security and also spent time working with the City of London Police as a cyber project officer.

Terry joins from Aon where she was a cyber, media and technology placement broker. Prior to that, she also spent time at Marsh.

Oli Brew, cyber practice leader, London, Lockton Re, said: “Jacqueline and Annie are great additions to our expanding Cyber team. We see a growing demand from clients for our Cyber expertise across the globe. Jacqueline’s role is new and reflects the complexity and continued need to innovate in cyber analytics. Cyber is the fastest growing commercial line of insurance and as we go into a new year Lockton Re is focused on ensuring we have the right people, expertise and technology in place for our clients and markets.”

Paul Upton, head of speciality, Lockton Re, added: “It’s been a busy year across all our Speciality areas, and we’ve seen rapid development in our Cyber portfolio, so it will be excellent to add to this growing team with the expertise and experience of Jacqueline and Annie. Our analytical approach combined with a focus on depth as well as breadth of understanding means that we will always look to showcase product and peril expertise throughout the team. Clients and markets benefit from a fully rounded perspective and our ability to support new entrants to build capacity and refine exposure management.”
