Long-term reinsurance momentum set to thrive in Bermuda

2025 continues the trajectory of growth seen in 2024 for the long-term reinsurance sector. As pension and annuity insurers continue to seek ways to enhance returns for their customers, long-term reinsurance assets exceed $1.1 trillion, with further growth anticipated. Bermuda remains at the forefront of this rapid growth. But a Moody’s Ratings report highlights three significant factors that are raising concern.
