Markel strikes $4.8bn legacy reinsurance deal with Enstar

Markel Insurance has agreed a $4.8 billion adverse development cover (ADC) reinsurance deal with Enstar to reduce uncertainty around legacy liabilities and support its focus on growing its core specialty insurance business.
