Marsh elevates 30-year veteran to spearhead US Northeast operations
Global broker Marsh, a business of Marsh McLennan, has appointed a 30-year company veteran to lead its eight offices across the Northeast region of the US, with responsibility for client initiatives, new business, and talent development.
Patrick Hennessy has been named Northeast zone leader, reporting to Michelle Sartain, president Marsh US. Hennessy succeeds Chris Roak who has assumed the newly created role of US strategy and execution leader.
Based in New York, Hennessy has 30 years of brokerage, consulting, and management experience, having spent his entire career with Marsh assuming roles of increasing responsibility. He most recently served as northeast zone risk management leader.
“Pat is a proven leader who is committed to providing excellent client service and fostering the growth and development of colleagues. Under his leadership, our Northeast Zone will be well positioned to support clients in this rapidly changing and often volatile risk landscape,” said Sartain.
Hennessy added: “I look forward to leading this talented group of colleagues as we seek to deliver the insights and solutions that enable our clients to thrive with confidence.”
