Marsh sees Q2 commercial softening deepen to 6%, property down 12%
Commercial insurance rates fell an average of 6% year-on-year in the second quarter, a mild acceleration versus a 5% pace in Q1, driven by a 12% decline in property and a double digit gain in US excess casualty, John Doyle (pictured), CEO of global re/insurance group Marsh said of his group’s latest market pricing metric.
