Melissa to hammer global re/insurers as uninsured losses soar: Moody’s

Hurricane Melissa is expected to deliver the steepest financial blow to international re/insurers, with Moody’s warning that business interruption losses will be substantial even as the Caribbean Catastrophe Risk Insurance Facility (CCRIF) pays $70.8 million to the Government of Jamaica.
