MGAs under fire as Chubb CEO slams multi‑layer broking, late claims

Chubb's CEO has issued a warning about MGAs being “a bad bet in the majority of cases,” in a recent letter to shareholders, scrutinising baton-passing risk transfer structures that amplify the supply cycle, leaving the ultimate risk taker with “cheap prices with huge intermediation costs”.
