Mindanao earthquake to test Philippine insurers: AM Best

The magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck the southern Philippines on Monday (June 8) is expected to affect re/insurance results in the second half of the year, with property, infrastructure and other commercial exposures likely to generate claims across multiple lines of business, says AM Best.
