Mitigation must be ‘priority’ as nat cat insured losses top $135bn in 2024: Swiss Re warns

Insured losses from natural catastrophes in 2024 are set to top $135 billion, marking the fifth consecutive year above the $100 billion mark, the Swiss Re Institute has revealed .
