
Moody’s RMS pegs LA wildfires insured losses at up to $30bn
Moody’s RMS estimates the insured losses from the Los Angeles wildfires to range between $20 billion and $30 billion—a figure on the lower end compared to other projections. However, the risk modeller warned that “great uncertainty” remains from numerous elements including potential insurance gaps and underinsurance in the region.
