Munich Re drops all ILS in major slash to retro programme

Munich Re slashed and narrowed its retrocession purchase across a number of major perils at the 1/1 renewals, dropping prior reference to ILS vehicles in the mix, as a strong balance sheet allows the group to hold more of its gross risk.
