Mutual and cooperative insurers are strengthening their position in established insurance markets, but their share of emerging markets has fallen sharply over the past decade, exposing a widening geographical divide in the sector’s global footprint, according to new research from the International Cooperative and Mutual Insurance Federation (ICMIF).
