Natural disasters rack up $60bn in insured losses in H1 2024: Swiss Re

Global insured losses from natural catastrophes tallied to $60 billion in the first half of 2024, matching 2023, mainly driven by US thunderstorms, Swiss Re Institute’s preliminary estimates have revealed.
