John Neal ditches Aon for top AIG role in surprise move

John Neal has scrapped his planned move to Aon and will instead join American International Group (AIG) as president on December 1, 2025, taking the reins of its general insurance business. The surprise switch comes just six months after Aon announced him as its next global CEO of reinsurance and global chairman of climate solutions. The former Lloyd’s boss won’t be making that jump after all.
