ACE appoints Nordic casualty manager

ACE Group has appointed Mattias Nordenberg to the role of casualty manager, Nordics, as part of a programme of investment to further strengthen its proposition for corporate clients across the region.

In his new role, Nordenberg will be responsible for expanding ACE’s casualty business in the Nordics both in terms of premium volume and by introducing new product features.

He will be based in Stockholm and report to Bror Sandas, country president for ACE in the Nordics, and Jerome Salmon, casualty manager for ACE in Continental Europe.

Nordenberg has more than ten years of insurance industry experience. He re-joins ACE, where he held various underwriting positions from 2006 to 2011, from If Sweden, where he was a casualty underwriter, industrials, responsible for If’s major accounts.

Bror Sandas, Country President for ACE in the Nordics, and Jerome Salmon, Casualty Manager for ACE in Continental Europe.

Sandas said: “ACE is a global leader in casualty insurance and the Nordic region is no exception. Mattias’ appointment underlines our commitment to strengthening our presence in all of the four countries of the region and providing a market-leading casualty proposition for brokers and clients.”

Salmon said: “Mattias’ breadth of experience will allow him to anticipate the evolving casualty needs of our customers and drive forward our plans for profitable growth in the Nordics. I look forward to working with him to further align our product proposition to current market requirements in the region.”
