AIG appoints head of specialty lines for EMEA
AIG in Europe has appointed Kelly Lyles as head of specialty lines for EMEA region. She will report to James Shea, president, global specialty lines and Emmanuel Brule, president, commercial insurance, EMEA.
“Creating this position is an important step in building a global specialty lines presence that truly differentiates AIG in the marketplace,” said Brule. “London is the global centre of excellence for many specialty lines products, so Kelly’s deep experience in the London market – combined with her experience as country manager in France – means that she has a unique insight on how to unite AIG’s specialty lines offerings and expand our presence in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.”
Lyles will be based in London and EMEA’s aerospace, marine, political risk, environmental, surety, SME and trade credit product leaders will report to her on a matrix basis and continue to report to their global product leaders.
Lyles has more than 25 years of experience with AIG. Most recently, she was country manager for France, where she was responsible for all aspects of French operations, including commercial and consumer business development, operations & systems, claims, finance & accounting, HR, and legal.
