AJG appoints non-exec board director
Arthur J Gallagher, the international division of Arthur J Gallagher & Co outside of the US, has appointed Lady Louise Patten as an independent non-executive director of the Arthur J Gallagher Holdings (UK) Board.
Patten will also sit as an independent non-executive director on both its remuneration and nominations committee and risk committee.
In addition to her position on the Arthur J. Gallagher Holdings (UK) Board, Patten will be non-executive chairman of its UK retail regulated entity — Arthur J Gallagher Insurance Brokers.
With a business career spanning nearly 40 years, Patten is currently senior adviser at global strategic consulting firm Bain & Company, having previously been a partner since 1993 focused on the retail and financial services sectors. She is also non-executive director at FTSE 100 firm Intu Properties, which owns and/or manages many of the UK’s top shopping centres, and senior independent director and chairman of the remuneration committee at AIM-listed life sciences company Abcam.
