Albo hires AXIS Re's Megan Thomas as Hamilton Re CEO

Hamilton Insurance Group has appointed Megan Thomas as new chief executive officer (CEO) of Hamilton Re, the company’s reinsurance and insurance business in Bermuda. Thomas brings 20 years’ insurance and reinsurance experience to her new position at Hamilton. She joins from AXIS Capital where she has held the position of chief underwriting officer, reinsurance for the last two years. Thomas began her career in the Australian insurance and financial services market. She spent almost 13 years at AIG in increasingly senior roles, including chief underwriting officer, liability lines, before assuming her role at AXIS Capital.
