US nuclear verdicts hit record 190 as median award falls

US juries returned 190 nuclear verdicts of at least $10 million against corporate defendants in 2025, up 40.7% year-on-year and the highest annual count since Marathon Strategies began tracking them in 2009. The median award fell to $32.5 million after four years of post-pandemic growth.
