Alex Moczarksi named as chairman of Marsh & McLennan International

Alex Moczarksi, the president and chief executive officer of broker Guy Carpenter has taken on the additional role of chairman of Marsh & McLennan International.

Moczarski’s new responsibilities will include oversight of international strategy, as well as expanding group of country corporate officers located in regions around the world.

Prior to joining Guy Carpenter in 2011, Moczarksi was president and CEO of Marsh's International Division, comprising all countries outside of the United States and Canada.

“I look forward to working with our executive team and local country corporate officers to leverage the company’s impressive international footprint to strengthen and grow our global market position,” he said.
