Alliant makes acquisition to expand US benefits footprint

California-based Alliant Insurance Services has acquired employee benefit management consulting firm Burkhardt, based in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

The acquisition will bring Burkhardt Consulting’s offering of cost management, plan administration, and strategic consulting services onto the Alliant employee benefits platform, according to a statement.

Following the deal, Burkhardt will continue to service clients from its Coeur d’Alene office.

Founded in 2003, Burkhardt Consulting provides a full range of employee benefit consulting services.
