Aon appoints CEO for EMEA risk solutions

Re/insurance broker Aon has appointed John Cullen, currently chief financial officer of its global risk solutions segment, as chief executive of Aon Risk Solutions (ARS) EMEA. He will replace Rob Brown.

Cullen has served as CFO of Aon’s global risk solutions business and chairman of Aon Risk Solutions Pacific region since 2014. Prior to joining Aon, he worked at PwC where he qualified as a chartered accountant and was a specialist in insurance and banking services in London and Hong Kong.

He has driven performance and thrived in every position he has held at the firm, which includes early experience building our business in Asia, followed by time leading operations and finance for our UK retail business, and most recently as CFO of our global risk solutions segment.
