Aon hires ex-AIG for agriculture reinsurance leadership role

Re/insurance broker  Aon has tapped a former AIG and AmTrust executive for its agriculture reinsurance unit.

Craig Fenster has joined  Aon as managing director of crop reinsurance, according to his LinkedIn.

Fenster has nearly 25 years' experience in the re/insurance industry, including 12 years at the American International Group.

Most recently, he worked at Accelerant Holdings as exposure reporting lead. Prior to that, Fenster spent five years at AmTrust Financial Services as vice president of underwriting. He was vice president at AIG Re from 2003 to 2015, and previously worked as an assistant vice president at Centre Re.
