Aon hires PwC exec to lead EMEA M&A infrastructure

Broker Aon has hired a PwC executive to expand its merger and acquisitions (M&A) and transaction solutions capability for infrastructure.

Charlie Garrood has been appointed head of infrastructure M&A for EMEA. At PwC he worked in corporate finance advising clients on M&A and debt financing and also has valuation and deals strategy expertise.

“Aon is committed to understanding our clients’ challenges and needs across industry verticals and to providing deep industry expertise as we deliver solutions,” said Alistair Lester, CEO, M&A and transaction solutions at Aon in EMEA.

“With his extensive infrastructure experience and deals expertise, Charlie will help infrastructure sponsors and investors improve their deal outcomes by leveraging the full spectrum of our unique range of capabilities.”
