Aon mines EY insurance guru to lead APAC strategy & tech consultancy
Global broker group Aon tapped an insurance consulting guru from EY to lead its foray into strategy and technology consulting for insurers in the APAC region.
John Morley (Pictured) has done the consultant’s route through the business, having done stints at both Accenture and KPMG prior to the latest EY posting. But Morley has been inside the industry as well, having done a turn at Willis Towers Watson.
As growth leader for Aon’s Asia Pacific strategy and technology group, Morley will engage with Aon clients as he directs the new Aon department which, during its first year in existence, combines strategic consulting – including claims efficiency, performance benchmarking, market share data/trends, actuarial analysis, and capital structuring – with a technology suite for insurer clients.
