Aon plucks AIG veteran to lead construction professional liability

American International Group (AIG) global head of construction professional liability has joined re/insurance broker  Aon to lead its practice but also provide critical insights on large and complex project solutions for all stakeholders involved.

As managing director, Bob Rogers (pictured) will lead  Aon’s design & construction professional liability practice.

He is a market leader in the architect’s & engineer’s professional liability field in both the US and abroad. He spent the last 13 years as the global head of construction professional liability at AIG. Prior to AIG, he worked as vice president at Lexington. During these tenures, he was the lead underwriter on some of the world’s largest design risks.

Aon’s design & construction firm practice provides specialised insurance brokerage and risk advisory services to architects, engineers, surveyors, project/construction managers and other design professionals (including design and build contractors).

Mark Peterson, managing director of professional services at  Aon, said: “Bob brings a wealth of technical and industry expertise to our practice.
