Aon taps senior hires from AXA, Howden
Aon has made two senior hires from Howden and AXA for its private clients division.
Nick Gavin-Powell is joining as head of private clients, and James McDowell is taking up the role of head of fine art.
Gavin-Powell comes from Howden Group where he spent seven years in several senior roles, most recently as divisional director for its private office business.
McDowell joins Aon following 16 years with AXA Art Insurance, where he was a senior fine art underwriter. He specialised in the insurance of high net worth clients, corporate art collections, fine art dealers and independent, local authority and university museums.
