Aquiline Capital Partners appoints Kelley executive advisor

Aquiline Capital Partners, a New York and London-based private equity firm that invests in businesses globally across financial services and technology, has appointed Kevin Kelley as an executive advisor.

Kelley, a long-time insurance industry executive, most recently served as vice chairman, Global Risk Solutions at Liberty Mutual Insurance before he retired at the end of 2019. Kelley joined Liberty Mutual following the company's acquisition of Ironshore, where he was chief executive officer. During his 40-year career in the insurance industry, Kelley also held a variety of executive and leadership positions at AIG, including chief executive officer of the Lexington Insurance Company.

“Kevin is well-respected for his experience helping to guide and build businesses in the insurance industry throughout his distinguished career,” said Jeff Greenberg, chairman and chief executive officer of Aquiline. “His industry knowledge and expertise are extensive and will be a valuable asset to Aquiline.”

Kelley added: “I am truly excited to be joining Aquiline as the firm has built a strong reputation as a premier player in the insurance industry and, more broadly, in financial services and financial technology. I look forward to working with Jeff and the rest of the Aquiline leadership team.”
