Argenta appoints board member

Managing agency Argenta Syndicate Management, a subsidiary of Argenta Holdings, has appointed David Thompson to the board.

Thompson joined Argenta as head of claims and reinsurance operations in April 2013. He has been part of the Lloyd’s market since 1987, where he has held a number of senior claims roles, latterly at Hardy and previously with QBE Europe.

John Whiter, chairman of Argenta, said: “We are delighted to welcome David as a member of the ASML Board. He has a wealth of experience in the claims field and will be a valuable addition to our senior management team.”
