Argenta Underwriting Asia hires from XL Catlin
Argenta Underwriting Asia (AUA), the Singaporean subsidiary of Argenta Holdings, has appointed Ian Picton as energy underwriter for Asia Pacific, effective at the end of August.
Picton will report to Scotty Sykes, Syndicate 2121’s principal underwriter in Asia.
Picton has over 10 years of experience in the energy market across both underwriting and broking disciplines in both the London and Singapore markets.
He most recently served as senior energy underwriter for XL Catlin Singapore. Prior to this, he worked as an upstream energy broker in London.
