Aspen appoints energy SVP from Liberty

Aspen US, part of the insurance segment of Aspen Insurance, has appointed a senior vice president of energy and construction, to support the growing demand for energy risk expertise in Latin America.

Gary Windsor joins Aspen with 35 years of experience in senior underwriting positions at Liberty International and Cigna/AFIA.

Windsor is responsible for Aspen US’s on-shore energy expansion into Latin America to support the growing demand for energy risk expertise throughout the region.

Based in Miami, he will report to Tony Carroll, executive vice president, marine, energy, and construction.

Carroll said: “Gary has considerable technical experience in both U.S. domestic and international underwriting in the energy space, with a broad knowledge and excellent broker relationships in Latin America. We are delighted to welcome him to the team.”
