Aspen strengthens US team

Aspen US Insurance, part of the insurance segment of Aspen Insurance Holding, has appointed George Kotsiopoulos as vice president, broker relationship leader.

Kotsiopoulos has underwriting and distribution experience from previous positions at Zurich and AIG and will report to Robert Rheel, executive vice president, US head of Property & Casualty.

Based in New York, Kotsiopoulos will be responsible for strategic broker relationships on a regional and national level across Aspen’s US insurance footprint.

Rheel said: “George’s experience in both underwriting and distribution offers a valuable complement to our targeted distribution strategy. His market relationships will support our broker partnerships. I am glad to welcome George to the team.”
