AXIS Insurance snares new lead underwriter for US A&H

AXIS Insurance has named a new lead underwriter for US accident and health (A&H).

Stacey Sutts is responsible for executing US specialty A&H underwriting strategy and for growing and supporting new partnerships and assessing growth opportunities in additional areas of coverage.

She has more than 17 years of underwriting and actuarial experience and joins from Chubb where she was a regional vice president, responsible for both A&H’s underwriting and actuarial support in Latin America. Before that she worked at Prudential Financial in various actuarial and underwriting roles.

James Hamilton, global head of A&H for AXIS Insurance, highlighted Sutts’ “track record of building strong partnerships” that will help AXIS expand its specialty A&H portfolio.
