Barbican Protect hires former WR Berkley underwriter

Barbican Protect, the UK insurance arm of Barbican Insurance Group, has appointed Martyn Bleakley as a property and package underwriter, effective immediately.

Bleakley previously served as a development underwriter for WR Berkley’s property/casualty division, where he helped to develop relationships with independent brokers in the Midlands and the North of England.

Prior to WR Berkley, Bleakley worked at AXA Insurance, where he became a development underwriter working across the company’s property, casualty and commercial combined product range.
