Beazley appoints chief marketing officer

Specialist insurer Beazley has appointed Georgina Peters-Venzano as chief marketing officer. Joining the company in March 2020, she will lead Beazley’s global marketing and communications strategy and head up a team based in the UK and US. She will join the London office and report to Lou Ann Layton, Beazley’s global head of broker relations.

Peters-Venzano has more than 18 years of marketing and communications experience in the insurance and financial services sectors. She joins Beazley after almost six years as director for brand strategy, marketing and communications at CNA Hardy. Prior to this, she was senior marketing communications manager at Coller Capital and communications consultant at Chubb Insurance Company of Europe, after beginning her career at Axco Insurance Information Services.

Lou Ann Layton said: “Georgina brings exceptional all-round experience in developing marketing and communications strategies across the insurance industry and wider financial services. Strong leadership credentials combined with deep insurance industry knowledge, and a track record for delivering successful, creative global marketing campaigns will make her a fantastic leader and addition to our team. We are delighted Georgina will be joining us and we look forward to welcoming her.”
