Beazley unveils new PI offering for large law firms

Specialist insurer Beazley has launched the Beazley Global Lawyers Consortium to provide professional indemnity insurance to large law firms based in the UK.

“The landscape for law firms is changing, especially for the larger firms whose offering is increasingly global. With the risks confronting firms growing in severity and complexity, we recognise the importance of being able to offer sufficient coverage and a highly tailored service," said Brenna Westinghouse, large law firm focus group leader at Beazley.

The Beazley-led consortium offers £10 million of primary capacity.

Westinghouse added: “This new consortium offers an effective and efficient solution with a single point of underwriting. Claims service will be delivered by Beazley’s highly experienced lawyers’ professional indemnity team.”
