US insurance job count down again in Nov, 2025’s worst month

The US insurance sector may have cut headcount by as much as 11,800 jobs to date in the second half of 2025, including a second month of job losses above 9,000 in November, a post-shutdown catch-up reading from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) suggested.
