Beecher Carlson appoints Bill Daly as chief operating officer

Broker Beecher Carlson Insurance Services, the specialised large account subsidiary of Brown & Brown, has appointed Bill Daly as chief operating officer (COO).

Daly will oversee Bermuda wholesale, product groups, team resources, IT, insurance operations, and partnership agreements. He will report to Joe Siech, chief executive officer of Beecher Carlson, and will serve as a member of the executive leadership team.

Prior to assuming the new role, Daly served as chief financial officer (CFO) of Brown & Brown’s retail division.

“Having had the opportunity to work with Bill already, I have no doubt that he will be a high impact player on our team,” said Siech. “With his knowledge of the Brown & Brown organisation and resources, Bill will create efficiencies in the way we partner with our clients to develop and implement innovative ways to identify, quantify, mitigate, and finance risk.”
