BMS Re US taps Willis Re geographic leader
Specialist re/insurance broker BMS Re US has appointed Paul Knutson as executive vice president, based in the company’s Minneapolis office.
Knutson joins BMS from Willis Re, where he served as geographic leader of its upper Midwest personal and small commercial business. Prior to that, he was a partner at TigerRisk Partners, having joined TigerRisk from Guy Carpenter, where he was managing director for more than 10 years.
Knutson will join the BMS Re US origination team and will focus on producing new business targeting regional multi-line and coastal property catastrophe reinsurance clients. He will report to BMS Re US CEO Andrew Bustillo.
