Brit hires from Arch to expand US professional lines
Brit Global Specialty USA (BGSU) has expanded its professional lines offering with the hiring of Rich Hartman from Arch Insurance.
Hartman joins BGSU's New York office as senior vice president, construction professional. He has over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry with expertise in the construction sector. Most recently Hartman was at Arch Insurance Group, where he led the design & environmental division. Prior to this, he was with Zurich’s North American construction team.
Brit’s announcement follows the appointment of Tom Bongi, as executive vice president of professional lines, in August 2017 to establish a professional lines offering for BGSU.
Hartman will report to Bongi with responsibility for building and developing a construction professional book.
