Brokerslink CEO resigns with immediate effect

Jacqueline Legrand has resigned from her position as CEO of global broking network Brokerslink with immediate effect.

Brokerslink and its shareholders own and manage a network of independent brokers and risk consultancies comprising about 18,000 professionals.

After six years based in Europe, Legrand has decided to return to New York to take on a new professional opportunity and reunite with her family, according to an official statement.

Legrand has been involved with Brokerslink since 2009, during her time as managing director for international business at Crystal & Company with the responsibility of Brokerslink COO Americas, and then when she joined MDS group in 2012 with the responsibility of Brokerslink regional director EMEA.

Jacqueline has been COO and member of the board at MDS Group, a shareholder of Brokerslink, since 2012.

In her last tenure as CEO of Brokerslink, she was assigned by the board of directors to design and launch the next phase of the company’s development, following the transformation of Brokerslink from an association to a for profit corporation.

“The innovative platforms and offerings she developed with her team will be instrumental for Brokerslink growth.”

José Manuel Fonseca, next chairman of Brokerslink, effective January 1, 2019, will ensure the transition.
