Brokerslink continues its expansion

Brokers network Brokerslink has expanded into Slovenia, Serbia, Nigeria and the wider African continent and incorporated a new holding company.

Opening the Brokerslink conference in Venice, Italy, José Fonseca, chairman of Brokerslink, told over 200 delegates from 70 countries that Brokerlink’s already rapid expansion would now accelerate.

He said: “Brokerslink is now a truly diversified global broker with a solid platform for revenue generation and growth. At last year’s conference we agreed to change our constitution from a not-for-profit association to a for-profit global broking company. I can now report that our new holding company has been incorporated and capital has been invested by MDS, Crystal & Company, Filhet-Allard, Nova and Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford.

“This is a major strategic milestone for Brokerslink and we are now focused on utilising this new corporate strength to drive our expansion and build enhanced multi-national client support capabilities through personnel and software tools.”

Three new broker members were also announced at the conference. This brings the total of number of broker joiners during the last year to seven.

Prestige Insurance Brokers of Nigeria, AGD of Slovenia and Serbia and Jones Brown of Canada joined. In addition, loss adjuster Advanta has now joined as a specialist service member.
