Brown & Riding promotes from within for new COO
Brown & Riding, the US-based wholesaler and specialty insurance broker, has appointed a new chief operating officer.
Mike Boseman joined Brown & Riding’s casualty unit in 2007 before becoming a property broker at the firm. In 2015, he became vice president of operations and then senior vice president in 2016 before his latest promotion.
Based in the firm’s Los Angeles office, he will continue to work closely with the firm’s president and chief executive officer (CEO) Jeff Rodriguez.
He will take on responsibility for the company’s strategic operations, which includes both client and carrier development, improving information technology service offerings, and also enforcing Brown & Riding’s service standards and regulatory compliance, the firm has announced.

Rodriguez added: “We are excited for Mike to take on this important leadership role. Over the years, he has consistently delivered results and managed countless challenges, which has made us stronger as a company.
