Capsicum Re hires cyber security specialist
Specialist reinsurance broker Capsicum Re has bolstered its cyber team with the appointment of Conrad Williams.
Williams will report to Ian Newman and Samantha Thompson, partners in Capsicum Re’s London property and specialty division.
Williams has completed a PhD in cyber security at the Centre for Doctoral Training on Cyber Security, Royal Holloway University of London, this year.
Newman said: "In such a dynamic environment as cyber, it’s vital that we remain at the forefront of innovation, creating solutions to meet our clients’ growing needs. Therefore, I am delighted to welcome a scholar of Conrad’s calibre; he not only brings a vast knowledge of cyber security, but a crucial understanding of the relationship between theoretical, technical and human factors in this field.
