Cathedral names two active underwriters for Lloyd’s syndicates
Cathedral Underwriting, the Lloyd’s managing general agent of Lancashire Holdings, has appointed John Spence to the position of active underwriter for Syndicate 3010, effective immediately, and Jon Barnes as the active underwriter for Syndicate 2010, effective early 2017.
Spence is currently senior aviation underwriter at Syndicate 3010, and Barnes is deputy active underwriter at Syndicate 2121, the latter of which will join Cathedral to lead the underwriting of the property treaty reinsurance account for Syndicate 2010.
Further to these appointments, Richard Williams will step down from the role of active underwriter for the two Syndicates.
Williams will continue his role as active underwriter for Syndicate 2010 until Barnes’ appointment in early 2017.
