CCR Re makes senior underwriting hire from Gen Re

French government-backed reinsurer  CCR Re has hired a senior underwriter from Gen Re.

José Luis Campos (pictured) is joining CCR Re as senior underwriter in the IART Europe South – Latin America and Benelux department of the underwriting and services division.

Luis Campos was most recently senior non-life underwriter at Gen Re - Reinsurance and previously held positions as non-life pricing manager and non-life statistics manager at Axa Seguros Mexico. He started his career at Qualitas, Cia de Seguros.

Hervé Nessi, director of global underwriting at CCR Re, said: "We are very pleased to welcome José Luis Campos in Paris as part of Emmanuel Jacquemin’s Non-Life team. With his extensive experience in the South American market, he will be a great asset in achieving our ambitious project of profitable growth in Latin America. With his arrival in the Non-Life lines, which follows the hiring of Olivier Collignon on our Life business, we are demonstrating our commitment to this region and its customers.”
