Charles Taylor Adjusting boosts team with Willis exec

Charles Taylor Adjusting (CTA) has strengthened its energy loss adjusting capability in Asia with the appointment of four senior adjusters in Singapore.

Joe Hassett joins from Willis where he served as Asia-Pacific regional director of energy. He will serve as regional director of energy at CTA.

Hassett will be followed in March by Jon Hill as director of energy and Nigel Cook as associate director of energy.

In addition, Teck Yiau (Keith) Lee, an engineering adjuster at the firm, will transfer from London.

Arthur Clarke, chief executive officer at CTA, said: “Our strategy is to recruit new senior adjusters with proven records of successfully handling large and complex claims. The appointment of Joe, Jon, Nigel and Keith greatly strengthens our energy adjusting capability across Asia and marks an important step forward for our Singapore office.”

Trevor De La Salle, managing director of energy at CTA, said: “Our new energy team in Singapore brings us significant experience and technical knowledge in Asia which will further strengthen our relationships with clients and markets.

“The willingness of senior adjusters of the calibre of Joe Hassett, Jon Hill and Nigel Cook to join CTA demonstrates the recognition of our ambition to further build our business across the Asia Pacific and Keith demonstrates our continued commitment to the recruitment of young, high quality engineers. I am very pleased to welcome them to Charles Taylor and look forward to working with them as we continue to build our business across the region.”
